Vision

To achieve quality education on instruction, research and extension services both in Social Work and Criminal Justice Education with holistic concern for better life, environment and society. An institute of students eyeing for scientific knowledge and insights towards social change and responsibility. Thus, touching the lives to become innovative, transformative among-likeminded individuals guided by principled faculty, graduates are tomorrow’s innovators and catalysts of change.


Mission

The ISCJS-TRAC has the mission to serve society and improve the quality of life by imparting high quality education in Social Work and Criminal Justice Education, providing training and development services, and fostering research. The Institute supports excellence in education through a diverse, dynamic, and personalize academic environment that emphasizes engaged learning. Together, this education will equip students to make positive change in their communities.


Goals

The Institute of Social and Criminal Justice Studies -TRAC aims to:
1. Provide quality education in the field of Social Work and Criminology.
2. Engage in productive researches and extension activities in response to the needs of the community.
3. Strengthen linkages with local and national partner agencies.
4. Create and maintain administrative system that is efficient and responsive to then need of the institutions


Objectives

The Institute of Social and Criminal Justice Education of Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College focuses on the following specific objectives:
1. Provide opportunity, instruction, guided experience and training by which the students acquire the basic knowledge and skills essential to the practice of Social Work and Criminology professions;
2. Foster higher concepts of citizenry and leadership, and an understanding to one’s moral and legal responsibilities to the community;
3. Inspire and instill in the students the value of service to humanity; and
4. Encourage research and inquiry along the field of Social Work and Criminology.
